About Isodomos
Isodomos — the Greek masons’ term for walls laid in equal courses — is a reference site for building in units: brick, concrete block, stone, and the bond patterns, sizes, and mortars that hold them together.
The reference tables come from published masonry standards and manufacturer data, and the history pieces from period construction manuals. Where a dimension or a strength figure appears, we say whose spec it is.
We don’t sell materials, and no manufacturer pays for placement.
